From Friday, January 15th at 9:00am PDT to Monday, January 18th at 9:00am PDT, Explorers will receive bonus rewards for discovering new Settlements and Resource Centers. Only three days remain and the scores aren’t final yet... the end of a Season can get particularly wild, and it’s the Faction with the most points when all is over that gets to celebrate.

END OF SEASON BONUS: In the last 72 hours of a Season, we will have special gameplay and improved rewards to ensure an exciting finish. You can claim a free Epic Minigame Card via your Inbox now! 

Additionally, Minigame rewards increase as the time counts down:

Greeting Explorers! As seen in the livestream we have some amazing things coming your way very soon. This is a quick spotlight of some of the new store bundles that will be available in the game once you reach player level milestones.

Each of these bundles is a one-time purchase, and are available for a limited time.

Important notes

As we prepare to launch version 1.27, we’ve noticed a few cosmetic issues that may impact existing players.

• For existing players in version 1.22, the bundle purchase screen within the shop may look blank or some icons might be missing. This is due to required support in 1.27 – so upgrade as soon as it arrives in either the App Store or Google Play! 
• (Updated) For existing players in version 1.27, offer timers may display similar to “Expires in 100h 100m 100s” and they will be unable to purchase the level 3 and level 5 bundles until they have leveled up. The bright side is that the expiration timer for those bundles will not "start" until you level up.

Purchases made on the 1.22 client during this time may look odd, but will be processed to the player’s accounts properly. 

Maximum purchase capacity limits have been increased by +50 across the board. Players can now upgrade Resource, Building, and Minigame limits to a max limit of 200.

Higher level players should also have access to these bundles for a limited time, but it should be noted that these packs are geared to provide assistance in newer player progression.

Happy Holidays Explorers!

The year is coming to an end, and we want to take this as an opportunity to thank you all for your honest feedback and vigilant bug reporting. With your help the game is improving and growing, and being shaped into an even more fun experience. Thanks for being such an awesome community of soft launch testers!

The end of the year also means that the Niantic and Nerd Ninja teams will take a break. Starting on December 23rd most of us will be out for the holidays. It’s time to unwind and relax a little, before we will return to the home office on the 4th with new verve and shortly after that with an app update that we are sure will excite you. It will include many bug fixes and an overhaul to an already existing feature. We have exciting changes lined-up for the new year when we return.

During our break we won’t be active on the forum or updating bug reports. But don’t worry, we will follow up with you in the new year. So please leave your feedback or file report bugs during the holidays when you are playing the game. We will look into all of this once we return.

Enjoy the time with your family and friends, even if it is just via video call or a meetup outside to practice social distancing. Keep safe and happy exploring!
