Update 1.8.4 is currently rolling out to players.
What’s New
• The major focus of this release has been on bug fixes, fixing soft locks, and increasing stability across all areas of the game.
Bug Fixes
• Fixed: When out of range at Settlements, the screen will no longer repeatedly flash
• Fixed: Boost cards can no longer be played on resource centers during cool down
• Fixed: A Quest will now unlock when players become ‘Good Friends’ with Catanians
• Fixed: Players can no longer place cards they haven’t unlocked yet
• Fixed: Players can now scroll to the end of their friends list and scroll past 22 friends
• Fixed: The Daily Dice Roll X2 multiplier will now be awarded
• Fixed: The Settlement dice game timer no longer gets stuck at 00:00:00
• Fixed: Some players were unable to continue into the game from a 100% loading screen

Bravo; the team running Pokemon Go need to learn how to fix bugs in their game release rather than pushing a new version that fixes 1 issue they broke in the last version and then creating 10 more.
(though the known bugs list for 1.8.4 looks rather long)
@CATANSkyler any chance of being credited with the 13 missing boost cards I should have received when going good friends with Catanians.

Ah, so the fix was to remove the free boost card? Hmm. 😂

Just a thought,, but a little something for All team participants at the end of the month might be nice, or even better local area awards. Rotorua yellow Eagles smashed it in the last period, yet get nothing for their contribution at the end. I'm sure other bears and eagles felt the same way in their own areas
@TyrianMagnus wolves didn't get rewards this month either. Just the message with the winner.
@CATANSkyler What Dora was meaning was that before the app update the rewards showed this, but instead of giving a boost, they gave a new quest.
After the update, it looks like this. Which looks like instead of fixing it to give a boost, the info has just been changed to show what was previously happening.
Regarding Good Friends "Free Boost Card"
Sorry for the inconvenience folks - the bug in this situation was incorrect screen text vs incorrect fulfillment. That screen slipped through a while ago and did not match the intended functionality. We've been pretty flexible when it comes to acquiring boost cards in other areas, so hopefully people don't feel too burned by our correction.
@CATANEir where are we meant to get free boost cards from? Is it just the mayor rewards now (that may or may not sometimes work lol.)
